Windshield frame to door weather strip location
I have been slowly tracking down wind noise with my 89 targa. I had wrong seal which has been changed out.
I think where the targa top seal meets door seal is not low enough but not sure. Anyone have picture handy of that area. I have new door seal but want to make sure before I cut it to length. Thanks in advance for any input. Chris ![]()

When I replaced the decayed door seals on my '85 cab with PP's 911-531-095-40-M260, I didn't have to cut them at all, surprising to me, they were the perfect length. I can't imagine it being too awfully different on a Targa.

I just checked mine and the door top inner corner by the wing window frame just slightly rubs on the bottom of the "cut" section in your picture forming a seal.
If your's does the same, then it is the correct location.
