Martini Racing Paintwork

So I know Im looking way way down the road with this post. Ive been thinking about paint colors and graphics for the RSR that Im building. I am really leaning towards to doing a 73 Martini Racing theme. My question .... Does anyone know where or whats the best route to get a set of these in vinyl in the US? Is it better to hire a graphics guy to make a custom set up or does someone already do this? Thanks guys!

I just googled the company and none of their links work now. They do have a cursory face book page and phone number listed. It's worth looking into... Their graphics are high quality but then so are Joe Bobs... I've bought from him as well. the more complex the magnetic graphic the more difficult it is to get it on correctly AND you need to remove them to wash the car....water trapped under them will fog the paint over time.

I've done them but also did the installation. They aren't easy and they are expensive.

Yeah, not looking for mag graphics. I want a vinyl graphic I can apply and wax over. No fuss no muss. JB .... you have done "martini" style custom vinyl graphics? Im trying to find out how they sourced the graphic for the martini racing rsr that was built on DDK

Looks like they had a group come out and design them.

The originals were painted IIRC. The copies may or may not be authorized by the race team. I believe it was Brumos Racing. They don't sell them.

They can be made with vinyl two ways, printed with a clear coat or die cut.

Looks like these guys painted them on. Always and option. I like the idea of vinyl becasue it can be removed if needed.











Could paint the tail and hood and do a graphic on the doors. I dont think I could accomplish the paint work myself with out it looking like pooo. Metal work is a whole different story.

That looks a LOT nicer than the originals. Some of the vintage racers looked to have been painted with a brush.

Martini graphics in vinyl: we have the patterns. It is printed in exterior grade and clear filmed for long life.

Yep. That's Mikes car I pulled off DDK. I thought they might be vinyl but are actually painted. Great build thread. Its my inspiration for the Martini Theme.
