1986 widebody coupe

I got this car a bit ago and thought it was really unique being a Euro factory M491 car with the spoiler delete (M470). Anyway, it's a fun car that performs well with the increased HP and lighter weight (no AC, cruiuse control, power seats , etc.). I've had quite a few 911's and 930's and have always stayed away from the Euro cars but I have to tell you this is my favorite so far.

That's one fine looking car !
Does it have a two out muffler or does the exaust come out on the right only ?

Gotta love that extra HP

Cheers !

It's a one in two out muffler. It looks like a stock muffler with the outlets added. I'd like to put it back to stock so I'll be looking for a full rear valence soon. It's not for sale now but they come and go with some frequency.

Gorgeous! I love the color, the cloth interior, the look of the wide body sans spoilers, all of it. I'm way jealous.

Looks great. I loved my Euro SC. Nothing to hate about being a little lighter and sometimes even more powerful.

Nice car! No A/C or power stuff, BUT it has the rear window wiper?

Maybe mine doesn't have the wiper because it's a targa... Did all the M491's have rear wipers?

Very nice! Like the "Porsche cloth script" interior, glad to hear your thinking of going to stock considering it's uncommon options/features or there lack of some in that colour combo making it IMO somewhat of a rarity, I love it!!

The rear wiper was an option as was the sunroof and the right mirror. I need to find a uncut rear valence but I'm not sure which one is applicable to a 491 car. I think a 930 is a different part but that might be because the twin pipes require a larger cutout? Any advice is appreciated.

My parts PDF for RoW cars shows the Turbo and M491 Carrera with the same rear valance, which is different from the normal Carreras. Part #930-505-077-04

Beautiful and rare. Love that color combo. The script cloth seats make sense for a car sans A/C and forget about having sweaty slippery leathers. Could see it the perfect blend with some track days, not over flashy on the highway to get noticed by the cops, last of the raw 911 gen with reliabilty and classy enough for a night out on the town.

Thanks for the info and positive replies. I found two in the classifieds. One from a 82 SC Euro that's close to the same color and has the holes for the rear fog lite but it has a lip around the bottom edge and not smooth like mine. Tempting, but my guess is it won't work. The other is a white one with the smooth edge from a 930. I'm guessing that would work better. Does anyone know if the SC valence would work?
