How does that work? Drill a hole in the end of the swing arm?
If I put my puller on the arm and the threaded center on the outer part of the arm it seems like they ate the same peice .

I have the arms and torsion bars out. The covers Came off no problem. It's getting the arms off the torsion bars.

When I lowered my SC had the same problem, pretty sure they had never been out, I took small wire cable and put a choke loop in cable and wrapped around outer spine then pulled cable thru torsion bar access hole in body. Then attached other end to a 2 inch steel pipe about three feet long. Then pulled it tight, created leverage against my foot on the floor. Then took a two pound hammer and banged on the pipe. It took about 5 minutes a bar to pop them out Good Luck

There is a plug in the end of the spring plate that needs to be removed.
I don't remember how i got mine out.......i think heating it made them pop off.
Some people have drilled a hole in them and pried them off.

Sometimes the splines do get corroded and fuse into place, draconian methods are then required.

But MOST of the time, the splines can be loosened just by wiggling. Hold the tbar in one hand and wiggle the spring plate with the other.

It may work immediaely. But if you haven't already spent 5 minutes wiggling, do this before considering anything more severe.
