Rearview Mirror

I recently put in a new windshield or had it done. My mirror didn't make the transition. What type of adhesive should I use ro glue he mounting to the windshield. Is any old mirror adhesive OK? Or something in particular. Also is there a standard distance de the top where I should place the mount?

Most automotive stores will sell a small tube of adhesive specific for rear view mirror. Not sure where you are but in Canada - Canadian tire or car quest should have

Also I have back seats for the first time in 15 years. I can remember what is supposed to hold them in he back position isn't there a bracket o something hat the red knobs slip the end into? I don't have anything there between the two seata

I have redone the interior and I'm down to the door pockets. I have two just like new but hey have black carpet. I need to remove the carpet and glue my red on them. It's really on there so good I'm afraid I'll bust the cardboard. Anyone ever take the carpet pieces off. The pockets came from a 3.2 and it's the plushest I've ever seen. The carpet on my SC door pockets is half as thick. Did all 3.2s have plusher carpet or was this car upgraded? I also have the rear panels and back panel for coupe. It feels like all leather but it's hard to tell

Rearview Mirror

I went to start my car the other day and my rearview mirror was sitting in the passenger seat. I purchased the OEM double sided tape sold on Pelican Parts. So far it is holding up, but I press it tight every time I drive it to be safe. I also bought two of them in case the first one fails. There is a thread somewhere else on this board discussing some tips (like cleaning windshield and tracing the exact location of the mirror).
