Question Tires 964 C2 1992???

I´m looking for new tires for my 964. As it happens, I have a chance to buy Pirelli a little bit cheaper than normal price. What should I go for? Using the car as much as possible in the summertime on normal roads, with some trackdays now and then. What would you suggest?

P Zero Rosso seems to be highly thought of for all around all weather summer performance.
P Zero Yellow is more biased to dry.

direzional fronts, asimmetrico rears

Consider B'stone Potenza RE-730's if you're looking for a great tire at a good price. Might even be cheaper than your deal on Pirellis. Not sure if you're running 16's or 17's. For 17's recommend 205-50's up front with 255-40's in the back.

Good luck,

The RE 730's are great bang for the buck. However, having just swapped them onto my C-2 in place of SO-2's I can tell you, the SO-2's are worth every extra penny! I'd spend the extra money and get the new Potenza SO-3's. The Pirelli's I've heard, don't have quite the steering response of the SO-2 or SO-3's.

Thumbs up

Thanks for your advice.
I´ll check with the guys at the shop to compare prices. Maybe I should check the Potenzas as well. Let U know if I find something interesting. Otherwise, the Pirellis(red) sounds interesting,
