930 axles in 911 trailing arms

Need help? Can 930 axles and constant velocity joints be installed in 1976 aluminum trailing arm hubs? And, if so, what parts are interchanged...bearing, etc. Thanks, Larry:o

Soft answer, no.

The archive has the answers you seek. User 'matt_d' gives an exhaustive comparision of the 930 and 911 axles.

I think the CVs will work on later cars with the 108mm hole spacing, I have 930 trani stub axles and the 108 mm cvs into a 88 carrera banana rams on my car....

I think this issue is the 930 wheel bearings a re beefier...
