Weber Query
I have just replaced my Zeniths on my Euro 1973 911T with some refurbished Webers 40IDA 3C's.
The engine is fitted with a Bosch distributor with vacuum advance which connected to the Zenith carbs. The Webers do not have a vacuum connection. Should i drill a hole in each manifold or remove the vacuum from the distributor ? Many thanks Last edited by DarthMJH; 09-11-2012 at 12:00 PM.. |

I spoke with someone today who mentioned I could fit a Bosch distributor from a 911s which has no vacuum advance.
What would you recommend? |

Personally, I would have the distributor recurved and run w/o vacuum advance.
