search custom oil line (S-Line)
Hello people, I have the following problem: I am looking for a oil line (S-line) from the oil tank to the engine oil cooler. The oil tank (year 1983) connector is plugged in, the connection to the radiator (year 1972) screwed. . Anyone of you has ever seen anything or installed.

The PET shows the 72 oil cooler is a slip on oil cooler so you have the wrong cooler for the engine. This also reduces oil flow to the engine because the screw on connector pipe is smaller ID.

72 S line
Here is a photo of a 72 S line. The only threaded lines go to the oil filter manifold.

![]() ![]() Hi, thanks for the reply. I have sent pictures of my problem .. The problem is the distance between the radiator and exhaust. The second picture is the oil line as I need them. When converting to the cooler bolted, it seems to me the solution. There is something to buy? regards mario |

I see your problem. That treaded line is one that goes to the oil filter not to a cooler. I have not seen a threaded connection at the oil cooler. Your easiest fix is probably change that one header pipe. I built my own headers and I do know it is a difficult balance to get the pipes to clear everything. I did an exhaust for a 914 with a 3.6 and I built one of the pipes about 4 times before I was reasonably happy. Good luck
