Downforce

There seems to be a bunch of info about front and rear spoiler for earlier cars, but I haven't seen any downforce/lack of lift for the C2 setup. I have a "84 Carrera that has C2 front and rear bumpers, and no wing. I like the no-wing look, but after a bit of track experience I am beginning to believe the "front spoiler with no rear is a bad thing" train of thought - braking from 200+KPH is a bit squirrelly.
Has anybody seen any information about the C2? I am considering adding a c2 engine cover, but am looking for some data to reinforce the change.
Thanks
Bob D

Toro, I to have a C2, '91 and have been looking into downforce enhancement. I've come to conclusion that we're on our own for this one. The folks at Windward cliam to have the solution of an 3.8 wing and front lip spoiler(similar to the one in the ad in Panos) as the preferred set-up. I've recently talked the guys at Cargraphics who offer a front splitter that works with the standard electric wing as well a lip the works with the 3.8. But nobody seems to have hard numbers on down force for either combo. Soooo, judging by the lack of response here so far it might just be a trial and error thing.
