engine padding adhesive

what would be a good engine padding ahesive to apply, for a 1986 carrera ? replacing engine sound padding, thanks ,,

The best way to do this is magnets. You'll avoid the dreaded glue and disintegrating foam problems.
Someone described the procedure here so do a search. Basically you just glue some of those thin high powered magnets to the pad and your good to go.
