Butometer out of calibration??

Just came back from a nice drive around some empty back roads, and drove it a little more aggressively than I have been, and quickly realized that this car starts to really come alive on the top end revs.funny thing is a few times that I got on it a bit,I looked at speedo, and was going around 70 mph,but felt like I was going much quicker than that. This car feels very light and nimble,do these cars tend to feel faster than they really are?btw mine is a weber carbed 71 E with a widebody conversion

Anything low to the ground and noisy will seem fast

I'm gonna lower mine some more then

some days my car just "wants to go"
I dont know what that is all about but there seems to be a point where faster = smoother, better ride - about 85-90 she is the happiest
