Carrera with VOLK rims
would like to see some pics of a Carrera or 964 with VOLK TE37.
Something with a Big Brake kit would be even nicer ! |

I love them on this 964. I have never seen them on a 3.2 or earlier car though. I I checked for sizing on my TL and the available offsets are close, but I'm not sure about the rest of the measurements.

![]() Fixed it for ya.............. ![]() I agree that car looks really sharp in black with the bronze wheels. If they fit a 964, some spacers will make them fit an 84-89 Carrera or 78-83 SC. You just need to select the proper thickness spacers to reduce the high positive offset of the 964 fitment.

Did a little bit of searching on Rays site and those 964 wheels are likely
18x8.5 front ET +50 18x9 or 10 rear ET+46 for the 9 or +42 , +50 or +60 for the 10 in wheel. RAYS WHEELS The rears can be made to fit rather easy with spacers. Fronts are REALLY tight with an 8.5 in wheel. You'd need to stretch the fender to get it to fit. Anything wider than 8 in. used under a narrowbody Carrera/SC fender is usually a no-go.

Imo they won't look good with spacers on an early car. You need the te37v with the deeper lips, but they dont list that they are available in 5x130. So unless volk is willing to custom drill them it's something for the high offset cars only.

Yeah the shallow dish thing is a personal preference and I 100% agree the deeper face wheels look better on the older cars. Still, shallow face wheels can look not bad. The BBS LM looks pretty good and they ought to, given the price!

LMs look good on everything
. Theyd look even better with a bit more dish though ![]() Here are the TE37v. Available in low offsets but not Porsche PCD (as far as I know) ![]() RAYS WHEELS 17 x 8.5 ET30 front 17 x 10.5 ET15 rear Seems like it might work on a 930 body, assuming you could talk them into a run of 5x130. I have no experience though and am just working with some known offsets and a offset calculator. Any thoughts? I love them and I wish I could have them on my car, but I think by the time youve bought and shipped them, you could have had some forglines or zuffenhaus fuchs made in the size and offset of your choice, which is much more appealing
