Cool deal.
Pull the bulb. They have them at the local part stores. It's a standard bulb for the time. Would have never thought the wire reversal would have done anything odd except burn the wrong filament. |

I think the problem
goes back to original owner. Bulb was blown when I opened up light assembly. I recall finding the retainer nut that holds the spring loose at back of assembly. Didn't think anything of it at the time. This is what created the short in my blinker fuse, blowing the fuse. I did not notice blinker fuse initially. |

Maybe a stupid question but before I start pulling parts off the car... where are the headlight and turnsignal grounds located?
