Wheel fitment Question

Hello,
So I had a bit of an incident over the weekend.
My nearly 30 year old inflatable spare worked like a charm and got me home without further problems.

However, here is my quandry. I don't really feel like going out and spending $600-800 on tires right before I mothball the car for the winter. The vehicle is a 1985 Carrera. I have a set of 1975 6x15 ET 36 cookie cutters out in the garage with pretty much brand new rubber on them.

I'm not looking for something that I can drive hard. The cookie cutters only have 195s on them. I don't care how it looks either. I just want to know if that size and offset will fit on the vehicle, clearing the brakes and not rub on the inboard side, so that it is driveable now and then until spring comes and I am ready to buy some new shoes for the old girl. Or will I need some spacers to push the rears out a bit? Please advise...

Yes, they will fit. No issues.

All Cookie Cutters are early offset, and will bolt up to your car just fine.

Perfect. That's what I thought but wanted to ask the experts before I bothered to jack up the car and start pulling wheels.

And here's to crossing my fingers that my Fuch isn't fuched up. I was doing 85mph when it happened and took the better part of a mile to get the car out of the fast lane and over to the shoulder safely.

You blew a rear tire? on 7s?
what's up front 6 or 7 or?

If you have front 7s put them in back then put the spare 6s up front, that would have been an oe fitment

Bill,
My car has 6's front and 7's rear. Fuchs. I blew a rear. Just gonna throw 4x 6x15 Cookie Cutters on the car for the time being.

I'm trying to decide what the heck to do with the car at this point. It's mechanically rock solid but needs paint. I was driving home from looking at a '66 912 I was considering as a trade when this happened. Now I'm starting to think about keeping the car and backdating it. I'm more fickle than a w...
