Question Unusual Set of Headers on Ebay

Check out these headers on Ebay. I just happened to notice them when parusing the 911 stuff. Something doesn't look right to me. The primaries don't look right and they look too long - like they'd put the muffler or megaphones out behind the car.

Might they be 914 headers?

Just curious.

headers

If I'm not mistaken, what you're looking at are a set of standard 914/6 heat exchangers with the heaterboxes removed.

Cheers,

Jeroen

Then I guess that they're not "rare" at all? maybe "unusual"or "used" or "modified"

I just checked in my garage. And although mine are rusted really badly, they are realy 914/6 items.
(I removed the heaterbox on one of them just for fun).

I think if someone buys these to use on a 911, the muffler will be hanging about a 10" behind the car 8^)

Cheers,

Jeroen
