Are Sway Away (adjustable) rear spring plates required for corner balance?
I'm messing with the ride height on my 911. I previously have had it lowered to below euro specs using the stock spring plates and Neatrix bushings, but would like to raise it to actual euro specs...then later do corner balance/alignment along with new tires and new rear shocks.
I have a set of Weltmeister sway away swing plates in a box in the basement, I bought them *literally* 10 years ago and never got around to installing. Do I have install these adjustable spring plates installed in order to have the car corner balanced? Or can it be done with the stock rear plates?

The adjustable plates make it easier but not required.
My car has had it done with the stock (non-adjustable) plates.

You can do it with non-adjustable plates but it is harder. I would just stick with the factory style adjustable spring plates that you should already have.
