craftsmen atv jack rec. needed

hi ,
i am going to get an atv jack from sears and am looking for some recommendations from those that have purchased a atv lift from sears (craftsman pro 1500 vs the less expensive red one ). i know there is a lift height difference between the two i am considering but i have been trying to see if there were any clearance issues that made you wish you would have bought one over the other. tempted to buy the less expensive one as its 89.00 at sears but if its not as good will opt for the pro.
thanks for the help, ben

I bought the Pro model, and it worked flawlessly for my engine swap. If you look at the two up close, the red one looks like a Chinese piece of crap, while the Pro is very high quality. It's also much lighter aluminum construction. Like anything, down the road you will forget about the price difference!

I keep an old quote in my wallet that states:
"The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten"!
I pull it out and reread it before making any major purchase!

What ^ said. I used the yellow pro but never compared the two. I was very happy with the pro though.

I wanted the pro model and ended up with the red version because someone was selling a brand new one that was never used and I couldn't pass up the deal. It worked fine. No problems at all.

I'm on my second red one; it IS a cheap chinese piece of crap.

If you have to buy it, ante up for the better unit.
