Aftermarket wheel pics 1974-1989 cars

I am looking to buy new wheels for my 1987 911 carrera and need some inspiration. Please post pics of your 911 with aftermarket wheels. I prefer the car be a carrera or SC but post all as you can never have enough Porsche pics.

Not mine, but I love the look. Plus these rims (stock 17" for the 993) are generally pretty cheap.

Correct.

However, if you want a wider or taller rim, OEM fuchs options are limited & expensive. The 17" Cup II's in the photo I posted are available for ~$600 for a set of four, tyres included. Try finding a pair of 9x16 Fuchs for that.

That may very well be true, sorry for sharing a pic of my car on Fuchs.

The original poster is looking for options for aftermarket wheels. In my eyes, nothing looks better on a 911 than a set of Fuchs. When tire options become nil for the OEM Fuchs sizes, I will definitely get one of the many options of larger diameter Fuchs replicas, but there would have to be absolutely no options for tires. If it came to it, I'd even consider cutting treads into a set of slicks.

Further, if the original poster has Fuchs on their car, but is interested in a lower offset/wider wheel to fill the fenderwells more, but is turned off by the high market prices for wider Fuchs, I've seen people put spacers on the 6's & 7's and it looks great.

Started with Aftermarket then went with a stock look.

Had these on the car for 12 years

Then sold them to buy the 17 inch Rota Fox replicas.

These look great, that's the choice when tires are not available in 15 or 16 inch, maybe the choice now???
