Charcoal carpet: plush or perlon?

Hello everybody, I am considering my options for my RS carpet instal and I am having a hard time deciding between charcoal plush and charcoal perlon felt. I understand that perlon is thinner than plush, but it also seems as though the colour/fabric is not exactly the same between the 2...
Would those of you who have installed a set in perlon or plush be kind enough to post a few pics to help me decide, thank you in advance!

The charcoal perlon felt is like a salt and pepper color. I think it looks cool and a nice alternative to black. It is definitely different than the lightweight plush..

I just ordered the charcoal perlon, I was going back and forth between it and black. I decided on the charcoal because I have had black carpet before and every piece of dust, link, grass, dirt, whatever shows no matter how diligent you are your carpet is always dirty.

Just my two cents
