Recommended shops in SF?

I'm pretty sure I'm getting a mid-year 911 and would be interested in a good shop for maintenance and repairs. In SF would be the best, unless there's a compelling reason to go somewhere else in the bay area. I see the Yelp reviews on Aldo's Performance Motors are outstanding. Suggestions?

Go to PCA - Golden Gate Region | It's not just the cars, it's the people! for a list of mechanics. No SF wrenches on the list though. I have used Valhalla in Lafayette many years ago. Good guy John Malone.

There are a lot of resources around. What might work out best for you depends on where you live and work and the kind of help you need with the car.

There are several PCA regions in the area, and lots of shops with great reputations amongst the members.

RMG is in Sunnyvale and they do great work. Great guys... one of them has responded here. But that might not be convenient. There are shops in WC/Concord area, the City... heck all over the place.

Partsheaven is a great resource. I have been a customer since 1991 or so. I know the people, including the owner pretty well, and they are well-connected with the local community. One of the owner's friends and recommended techs is located in Crockett.

This is a resource-rich environment... welcome to the area. You can PM me if you want some specific suggestions based on your needs/convenience.
