Chrome Side View Mirror Tightness Question
My '75S has the factory chrome side view mirrors. I routinely fold them in when the car is in the garage.
Over time the nut that keeps the mirror tight gets loose requiring me to physically remove the mirror and retighten. Since removal of the passenger mirror requires removal of the door panel, handle, etc etc, I was wondering if anyone had a trick to keep these mirrors tight? Some type of split washer? Thanks

Have you tried replacing the nylock nuts? Or using them if your mirros don't have em?

No I have NOT but that sounds like a GREAT idea.
I'll try it with the driver side first (to see how it goes) and if all goes well I'll tear apart my passenger door and do it on that side. I'll keep the board posted on the results
