Is this a Gemballa?

Or just someone with really poor taste?

From the outside (& a slight peak of the all white interior ) it looks like a Gemballa Avalanche model, if you get a chance to see the interior, look for the signature "G" embossed on the steering wheel & sometimes a plaque on the glove box door (sometimes on the outside & sometimes on the inside of glove box door where Gemballa puts a metal type plaque with an etched signature &/or info.) even the centre caps on the wheels get the signature "G" as well as (& again it's not consistent) but where the engine decals are there is sometimes another additional decal from Gemballa. I've got a soft spot for some of these outrageous '80's models, pure excess! Gotta love it!

I would guess that's the real deal. For instance look at the rear centre reflector.

Sad story about Gemballa. Apparently he was murdered in Africa recently.

Yeah it was sad to read about him missing. I think I read the story in Excellence.

You can't spell gemballa without "balla."

It's real, here's some more pictures of that particular car.

That was over the top wild in the mid 80s. Still pretty crazy looking today.

Now these were no faster, correct? I hate to admit it, but I kinda like that interior. The exterior...not so much.

Rare, ugly, and expensive. I believe Vinilla Ice rolled in one just like that one back in the 80's!

You would need sunglasses to look at the interior even on a cloudy day!

I do like the paint color, however.

From what I recall, the engines were modified to a claimed 500hp.

Even giving leeway for artistic license....that is ugly....looks like icing on a cupcake, a cartoon. The interior looks like Santa Claus on Meth...

I think it's awful, but I love it anyway. All styling is subjective and in 20-30 years people will look back at a car like this as pure period-correct outrageousness.

Heavy dude. I mean the car. With all the wings, side moldings, roof wings plus interior it weighed lots more than a stock 911 of that era. Sort of like a fat woman wearing Nikes to me.

Super nasty, never liked them and while some 80s cars are looking a little better, not the case with this one. Now get Sir Mix-A-Lot behind the wheel and your SWASS!

500HP? I don't care if it slept with me, gave me hummers and Daddy owned a liquor store. That is hideous. Only Vanilla Ice would own that POS.

Bet he has THIS on the wall in his garage.....
