Smile Factory Hardtop Project Complete

2 months in the transport issue from London"
and here it is " not much of a chore but time consuming the fitting was better than I hoped for" and the Glasso Guards Red was closer than I thought as well.

I still have some inside cleaning to do but you get the picture.

And a big thank you to my beloved Merita who was my only helper lifting this thing on and off a dozen times. She was the Rock Star of this project""
Thanks Baby

Look great. Are you (can you) switch back and forth?

It would take me less than an hour to switch
It's very simple.

Looks great indeed, no matter what anybody says. Be proud of it; very cool. +++++
Maybe just get those wheels out towards the lips a bit more to fill out the wheel wells...

I was listening to music and just surfing posts and checking the pics of your slant nose. It was not until the eighth picture that I finally noticed the sealing bead and thought "Why does that look a little different?". It did not register that it was a hard top. Just that some of the trim looked a little different.

That is an awesome set up.

Please, please, please tell me that you are over the learning curve and are going to be making these!! (Affordably of course!).

I have an 83 Cab that I wish had a hardtop...

If not, do you have plans or instructions on how to do this? About how much $ did it cost to produce?

Looks great - the line at the rear quarters makes looks even better! I like the break.

That looks really nice. I'm not even gonna ask if it comes with a sunroof option. Every rag top should have an optional hardtop IMHO. Makes the car a lot more useable during the inclement weather times.
Could I make one suggestion RE: the wheels?
Get yourself some black painted center caps that have the logo painted correctly. I think you'll like how the car just POPS with a set of those on. I have an old picture of my car (which has color matched wheels) with same color center caps and there's no comparison IMO.

Good talking to you!
