Ball Joint/Wedge Bolt anti sieze

I assume I need to use anti sieze on the ball joint shaft and the wedge bolt but I can't seem to find a thread the is definite on this issue. Can someone confirm? It seems like it would help the ball joint shaft orient itself properly as the wedge bolt snugs up, but I can't say I have anything concrete to back that up.
TIA

I oiled the ball joint shaft and never-seized the wedge bolt when i did mine.
The tolerance is tight....don't think you'll get much anti seize to stay on the ball joint shaft.
