Wow! What a difference....

My newly purchased 911 sat 1/2" lower on the driver's side and pulled a little to the right so I took it in to a local Porsche race shop to to have the ride height set, corner balanced and aligned. Got it back and finally had a chance to really drive it today and WOW, what a difference.

This is my first 911 and it rode pretty well to me when I bought it. Now it turns so much easier, has a more neutral and stable feel and even rides smoother (it's set at the European height, maybe a tad lower). I never would have thought that a good alignment and corner balance would be that noticeable. Now I keep making excuses to go run errands. Track day here I come!

Cool.

I got a little carried away with setting the height too low a few years back. Set it back up recently using the euro specs measuring between suspension components. Same sensation you feel - more user friendly. That is without a corner balance so need to bank some dough for that.

Mine was initially sitting low on the drivers side also. I had euro specs down on the height, alignment and corner balance done. The shop even took my weight into the set up on the corner balance.

Car runs and handles beautifully.

My car was set too low in front when I bought it. I raised the front only a bit (Yet another ride height thread) with similar results. Too low is not good.
