color codes

i checked the exterior color codes on my car...both the sticker under the hood and the plate on the passenger side fender say "80K"

my 911 redbook only lists a "80F" for carmine red and "027" for guards red. can someone explain to me what the 80K is? and what color is my car now...guards or carmine?

the entire plate reads...

80K 9 2
G1

thanks

G1 is another code for Guard's Red.

Also have a look inside your boot, under the carpet on the passenger side (right behind the snap at the very front). You should see a brass/gold colored plate there with the color code and name on it. My '85 says G1 Indischrot. That translates to "India" Red, which is supposedly the original German name for what became Guards Red in the US.
