911 oil lines questions
79 911sc my oil lines on the side of the car/rockers, have ribs on them are these the elephant oil lines? and secondly how can i restore them to look new again the previous owner (jackass) painted the car poorly,and payed no attention to detail so i would like to get paint/years of road grime of of them thanks for any input

If ribbed yes they should be elephant aftermarket oil lines but in your pic those are OEM brass lines.

Factory Brass lines do more to cool than the "cooler".....Any coating or painting should be avoided. Best to just just polish them up. Maybe start with a wire wheel?
