Always on the last things to do

So I have posted a few time about dropping my engine to do the clutch.

I thought the CV shaft bolts were tough... They don't compare for $hit to the oil lines. The joint right back by the tank drain plug is driving me nuts. The only things left to do are the slave cylinder and the oil line until I can drop the engine...

I have big adjustable wrenches, but the damn thing wont budge. Not to mention, as always I am freaked out about putting so much force into it...

Mapp gas is the one in the yellow bottle at the hardawre store. It will fit your standard propane torch that you mighht have laying around which has a blue bottle on it. Burns significantly hotter than propane and will usually help loosen siezed up bolts and fittings. Try to heat only the outer most siezed up part so that it is on only thing "growing" bigger and therefore getting looser.

Good LUCK!!!

worked like a charm. No heat, no damaged nuts and no sacrificed line.

Thank you to all who had suggestions.

Scotricker, I will talk with you later with a delivery.
