Modern 911 Fuse Panels

Tired of your old fuse panel looking like this?

This is your chance to update to a brand new fuse panel that uses the modern ATO type fuses rather than the VW style fuses! Larger surface area of contact points help to reduce heat and corrosion that will ultimately lead to a failed circuit! Also helps to eliminate "ghost" electrical gremlins that seem to plague older Porsches. A carefully installed new panel will look like the one in my personal SC coupe. $215.00

Or, if you want the added protection of headlight relays, choose this model. $315.00

And to finish up, you can replace the small fuse panel in the engine compartment with
one of these. $75.00

Models available for 1974-1989 911s. Close to being able to provide a panel for the pre 1974 cars. Inquire. Prices include shipping and insurance to any US zip code address including Puerto Rico. Shipping to Canada and overseas is higher. Please inquire. Two main panels available for immediate delivery, one of each style. One 4 fuse panel also ready for delivery. Kit comes with panel, fuses, spare fuses, spare fuse holder, fuse puller tool and installation instructions. Installation time should be ablut 10-16 hours depending on skill level.

Nice!

The only thing I don't like about the blade fuses is they are not always visually obvious when popped. But (otoh) really good point about the larger surface area of contact points of the blade fuses to reduce heat and corrosion.

Why does it cost $100 to add a couple relays to the panel?

There are ATO type fuses called Smart fuses that glow when they blow. Also, there are ATO pattern circuit breakers that will reset when the short is removed from the circuit.

Nicks911
The deluxe panel is $100 more because the relays costs a bit over $30 plus the cost of the wiring sockets and the prewiring work. Also, the longer panel costs about $10 more in materials and labor to build.
