Wiper reversal issue

While the speedo is out and I have the opportunity I want to park the wipers on the right. I've got to the point of lifting the arm up and off but the actuator arm seems stuck. How hard do I need to pry to get the arm off. Before trying to really muscle it I thought I would ask if there is a tendency for this to stick or should I just try to pry up on it? I don't want to break or bend anything.
Any advice or tips to getting this off is appreciated.

Thanks,

Ken

lever it upward with a screwdriver to pop it loose.
