Turbo to early-style fender

which would be easier...

get a turbo fender and add a early style light box and extension

or get an earlier fender and add turbo flares and a small extension down the front of the flare...

by easier I mean cheaper too

How's your metal & bodywork skills?

Probably cheaper to update early fenders (I'm doing it now, it's not too hard) than to early-ize some turbo fenders.

Have you ever priced Turbo fenders?

I would have to say flaring early fenders. No contest. The labor envolved is about the same and there is plenty of supply as compared to demand for Turbo flares.

I agree with Dave, Update the early fenders. Have you checked the price of the early light box?

Other options are glass flares with the filler piece present or complete glass fenders with molded flares. good luck with the project.
