Seal puller from hf

Are you talking about rear or front seal?

If rear, you can use a bfs but take care not to mar the housing or it will develop a leak.

Oh okay, use the seal puller but be very careful on the engine as not to mar the inside.

Any idea on why the seal started leaking?

If the cam shaft is worn in the seal area, then popping in a new seal may not help very much. You may want to try to install the seal so that it rides on "virgin" material or you may try speedi sleeve.

Drill a small hole in the metal area of the seal. Screw an appropriate sheet metal screw in it and pry it out with a pair of needle nose pliers. No damage to the camshaft and no damage to the cambox bore.

How ya doing Drago?? If you haven't heard, we relocated to West L.A. Robertson Bl exit of the 10 Fwy to be more specific, 3387 Livonia Ave. L.A. Sounds like you had a fun Thanksgiving Cruise. Too bad about the boys that got pulled over.

Listen Dr Marc that is a sure way to get that seal out. He saved my arse more than I can say

Hey Dr Marc, I am going to stop by CONGRATS on your new Shop Locale, yeah Jim (nameisbauer) and I had a bit of a scare when a fella in his slantnose lost his rear end around a hair pin and did a 180 right in front of use, of course I was sandwiched between them

Over all it was VERY FAST and FUN
