Speedometer interchangability
Will later model 180 mph speedos work in my '84 Carrera? Is mine still cable driven?

pre 77 are mechanical. Easy to detect by the trip resetbutton. On face electric no button mechanical. Grüsse |

Ok, so my Carrera is electric. Do they all use the same speed sender then? If I pop in a later model speedo will it read accurately, if at all?
