What's this part called and where can I find it?

My rear sway bar left mount broke off. It needs to be re-welded. I've heard this is somewhat common in Carreras. so I might as well have both sides done re-welded at the same time. I cannot find the part on Pelican's catalogue or anywhere else. Actually, I'm not even sure what it looks like, as it's probably upgraded from the OEM ones that break. Anyone, Buehler, anyone? Thanks.

Richard,

Give Pelican a call, I'm sure they can get it.

I don't have my camerea or my car with me here at work to show you a picture of one installed. But my car had them installed before I purchased it. The install looks pretty straight foward. Just needs to be welded in.

One is pictured in Bruce Anderson's book. Don't know the page no. Pelican has a reinforced one listed as Part No. C-501-983-00. THe description says it is reinforced, but there is no actual photo. Get ready, it's over $70 per side.

Richard

I think the performance catalog has that part listed. $69 if I am correct. Mine has been rewelded a few times and I need a new one, but was hoping to find a longer lasting solution. If you come up with one, let me know.

Thanks for the pic of the gear knob.

try that link.

If it does not work, type in sway bar as a search word after defining your car type and its the first item listed.
