Cambermeister problem.

I need some help.

Does anyone know how to contact Weltmeister?

I bought and partially installed a Weltmeister Cambermeister. Unfortunately I can't finish since the sealed bag was missing one of the two jam nuts.

No retail hardware stores carry a 12mm jam nut with a pitch of 1.25 -- not even Mr. Metric, but they quoted me $75 per hour to make one

The supplier I bought from is not returning my email and voicemail, so I think I need to go to the source.

Would anyone happen to know an email address or phone number for Weltmeister?

Thanks!

Bob,

I believe they are represented by Performance Parts (er Automotion). I think they should be able to get you a replacement.

I'm surprised Weltmeister is using metric threads in this application as the cost of a metric rod end is usually higher. The hardware in their other products (sway bars) uses SAE threads.

Actually, I assumed the jam nuts are metric since the rest of the hardware supplied by Weltmeister would need to be metric (i.e. the strut tower hex bolts).

I'll go back to the hardware store this afternoon and check it out -- thanks Sherwood!

If it is a 1/2" rod end ... it is probably 1/2-20 SAE, but are both ends the same, or is one left-hand threaded?
