915 factory oil cooler early 70's
Hi guys (OOPS, I said Oil cooler, I meant Oil pump can't edit the header)
I just bought a bunch of 915 parts from a Porsche race shop. In the pile was a gear driven pump in the nose piece (not the euro style used in the mid 80's), a spray tube for 1-4 gears and a squirter for the ring gear. I've been playing with 915s for 15+ years and have never seen one. I searched this forum and find nothing. How rare is this set-up?

Thanks Bill
My oil pump cover is a bit different but the three tubes are the same. I am missing the drive gear though. I'll post photos when I clean it up. Very cool set-up. I knew the boss on the nose was for an oil pump but had never seen one Jerry
