engine oil cooler leak
This will be my third try replacing the rubber rings that meet the engine block on the engine oil cooler.
Should I be putting some type of sealant on the meeting surfaces of the rubber rings? |

Just make sure they have oil on them and that they don't get kinked when you align them up!
If it still leaks it could be a leak in the cooler it self! You could get it pressure tested at a radiator shop before reinstalling it! |

I used a little dow 111 grease on them to keep them in place when putting it on. Same stuff is used on the oil tube o-rings. Worked well for me.
