The flare on the end of that leaking brake pipe may have cracked. Unless it was left accidentaly loose from previous maintenance/work they rarely leak like that. I would get a proper brake pipe flare nut spanner on it and check tightness. (You can quickly check the tightness with a regular spanner if you do not have the correct brake pipe type with the opening) If the nut is tight but leaking I would undo it and inspect the flare end of the pipe closely. If you wedge the brake pedal half way down the fluid leak will be minimal. I would be less concerned about the rusty flare nut fitting as there is a lot of metal there. Clean it up and paint it because changing the brake line that goes through the tunnel is a hassle. Rusty brake pipes are another story, they should be replaced.
