A couple of quick questions
Question #1: Are these case savers or time-serts?
![]() Questions #2: If they are time-serts, and they appear in good condition, is it still necessary to replace with case-savers? Questions #3: Is there any use or value to a set of Mahle Alusil pistons and cylinders I just removed? Good shape it seems. ![]()

They look to be time certs, Case savers would be closer to the edge of the case cylinder bore. and look a bit off center but I would leave them alone.
The cylinders can be replated don't toss them out, you never know.
