Does anyone know the weight of 15x7 and 15x8 and 16x7 and 16x8 Fuchs per wheel?
Thanks in advance. |

Fellow board member Sherwood Lee has a great 911 wheel info page on his website. Here's the direct link:

I'm sorry but that chart is WAY off on some wheels. I just weighed my 16x7 inch Fuch and it is 14 pounds not the 18 pounds listed. (Nice digital scale). I thought it was fishy when it lists the 15x7 wheel as 12 and a 16x7 wheel as 18!!!!
Someone needs to double check everything else on this chart.

Uh-oh! And I passed up all those 16-inch rims because I thought they were TOO HEAVY?
Thanks, Dane! You just ruined my Kettle One vodka buzz. ![]() BTW: the 15x7s and 8s, and similarly-sized Minilites are correct. I weighed them once at TRE. Minilites are fairly heavy.

Sorry David, no one deserves that
![]() Here are some weights I have been getting with the wheels and tires in my shop. The SO3 numbers are estimates from Tire Rack, the Fikse wheels factory numbers, everything else is off my shipping scales. You'll notice some of the wheel and tire combos don't add up. I know what the Fuchs, two piece Fuchs and Fikse weight with SO3s mounted and the 2 piece wheels with Victoracers. Next time someone tells you their wheels are lighter than Fuchs give them a little leeway but raise an eyebrow. All of this is the reason I am still running original Fuchs.. Dane - where can I find those tire weights on the Tire Rack site? I've never seen them. Can you forward a link? I'd like to see the weights of 205-50-15, 225-50-15 and 225-45-15 tires.
Thanks. Great information as usual. ![]()

Years ago I weighed a few wheels.
late 6x15s: 12.9lbs late 7x15s: 13.5 lbs 8x15s: 14.0lbs And recently a pair of 911R 7x15s were 11.7 and 11.9 lbs. Mahle Gasburners beat them all, 9.7lbs! |

David, you have to call them and ask. Itt is only their estimate. They were more than a pound off on the Victoracers. One too much on the 225 and one to little on the 265.

Weight of 8x16 Fuchs
I have just weighed a pristine, almost new 8 x 16" Fuchs on a very accurate scale. The wheel is clean, has a stem in it and the stem valve support.
