If you can't locate a tool it's easy enough to grind the stud flat , center punch and drill out using incrementally larger bits until you're almost to the threads then use a "easy out". I've done many like this with no problem the most important thing is to use good quality drills and make sure the center punch is as close to perfect as you can get it. Take your time it will work.

Yah thats my plan. i was going to get some left hand drill bits to try. I have used them before with some sucess although not in as critical an area.
The center punch location and getting the drill started straight will be key. I thought I had the ultimate tool for this, it looks like a spark plug socket with rollers in side so it tightens up on the stud. I heated the aluminum with Map, installed and started turning. I thought it was coming out....just broke off :-) I think I will try welding nuts on the end and using my impact. This tool does not work with an impact because it realeases when the pressure of the hammer action goes off.

Welding nuts on it should work well, a lot of heat gets transferred to help break it loose.
