cassette holder - help with colour for different year 911s

All,

As part of a retro stereo install project including a Blaupunkt SQR cassette unit, I wish to retro-fit the six stack "cbox" cassette holder system into the space on the centre console.

What I am looking for is the original style holders that are period correct for an 1985 911.

Now, I am a bit fussy on originality and I have seen various pictures of these holders with different colours. The black part of the front fascia of each holder segment appears to be textured black plastic, and on the right hand side there is the release button which is a ribbed plastic.

My query is that these seem to come in a range of colours, I have seen orange, white and even black.

Does anyone know if certain colours are particular to given years of models of the 911? What colour came on an 85? Would an orange-buttoned stack be period correct. Or do I need the white ones.

Sorry if these seems a bit trivial but it is important to get right!

Our '86 came the the black but red was also available.
No big deal if you have either.
