Wheel lug question

I love when that box of parts arrives. Can't wait till Saturday to install them. I'll be swapping out the sump plate on my 73, 2.4
with a new alum. billet plate. Hoping to stop a very minor leak and add some cooling??? I will also be adding spacers to the rear wheels. I'll have to change the existing wheel lugs to new 55mm lugs. The question I have is: Will I have to remove the roters from the car to swap out the lugs? I have access to a press, but I was wondering if this would be necessary. Any other points or things to watch out for?

Thanks for your help, Paul

I'll ditto Matt's comment...nice car! And Paul, if you think of it, make a post after you've run the billett sump plate for a while. I'd like to know how well it worked... Paul (on the left coast)

John Walker has said that wheel studs can be removed and installed through the hole in the backing plate through which the emergency brake cable goes. Otherwise, the hub must be removed, which means replacing the rear wheel bearings ($) since they are destroyed during removal. Fronts would be a piece of cake, I think.

Paul, is that a Monza exhaust? How do you like it? Sound?
Thanks

Good looking car. Has she been raised in the rear or is it just the angle of the picture?

I hear you about the arrival of the parts box. By now my wife just accepts my behavior but at first she was really concerned that I got so excited because she thought I had ordered some type of porn.

I was away for the weekend and just read the replys to my post. Thanks for all the nice comments on my car.
Bob, The exhaust is an ANSA, it sounds great, a little loud but I still pass inspection with it. I don't think that it's being made anymore, but I do see them for sale on E-Bay once in a while.
Doug, the rear has not been raised I think that it is the angle of the photo. Paul
