Best tranny additive or fluid?
I am close to needing a rebuild on a 915 tranny with noisy main bearings - what is the best product to quiet and provide extra lubrication for these bearings until the rebuild?? - I am just running NAPA 90wt gear lube now.

Since you are doing a rebuild anyway, you could try this Motorup thingie "Gear-up". I have thought about it, but, since my tranny is still working, I don't want to clog it with any additives..But if it works...well thats another story..

The Swepco 201 is hands-down number one recommended by all the people I know:

I agree with Wayne, Swepco for the 915, Mobil 1 for the G50 and newer.

I give up Schwepco...everybody, well, almost everybody, worships the stuff for the 915 gearbox.
