REV Limiter with 6-pin Bosch CDI boxes

Hello people,

I changed my ignition on dual ignition with two 6-pin Bosch CDI boxes. My question to you is: How have you solved the REV limit?

regards mario

My car was a '77, has a '78 930/60 fitted. On the 930, the CDI limited the revs, but the '77 CDI doesn't. Which meant that nothing did rev limiting until I fitted the later distributor rotor with the mechanical rev limiter (the weight that breaks the circuit).

It's apparently rated at 6,800, but mine seems to activate just over 7,000 RPM.

Since then, I fitted a J&S Safeguard; this has a rev limiter as well. I have that set lower than 7,000 RPM
