assembler initials
I removed my windshield and dash pad today and found this written on thecowl under dash pad passenger side. Was this a common practice on these cars? I would love to be able to find out who LE was.

cool. i found a fingerprint in the original paint on my heat blower in my 72 914 and a german penny in the tunnel in my 82 911 :)

They were signed by the painter that painted your car.
Like all artists they signed their work back then. Further proof that our cars are works of art. |
Thanks for the info. The picture is a great addition to the collection of photos of the car. Would be very cool to actually know this persons name.
