Fog Lights!

Ok,
I must admit that the price of a new foglight lens for my stockers was, well, quite bowel loosening, even by Porsche standards. I thought I might be able to do better and at a smaller price, so here ya go:
Sans covers,

With covers,

They are Cibie Airports, fog style, semi period correct. I did have to slice and dice the valence bracket with a die grinder and abrasive wheel, followed by shaping the offending bracket with a carbide burr. Uses stock mounting position and location, more or less....

Stockers are square and about the size. But seriously, what does it matter? It's your car, run what you like.

I think those look very nice.

If you can get away with it, matching amber headlamp lenses would be the bomb diggity on that car.

Ding,
That is what I did! Just posting in case some others might want a similar alternative to the insane stock fog lamp prices, not to mention the NLA status of the left lens.

Hey Eric -- would you mind posting a pic from 3/4 view (rather than head-on) and maybe one or two showing mounting detail? Sure would appreciate it . . .

In a Carrera you will need to modify the valence somewhat.
