Clamshell question
Ok steering wheel hub rubs on the clamshell and makes a very annoying sound and sometimes a squeak.
Question is can the haves be flipped or is the one with the long tab parallel to the dash supposed to be on the bottom? Thanks.

I don't know if you can flip the clamshell, but I'd almost be willing to bet it's not the clamshell. More common is for the horn contact to rub. Couple of methods to correct in this thread. -J
Steering wheels sounds like it has gravel in it.. |

the top and bottom are different mold castings and cannot be swapped.

It appears the screws that hold the horn contact are rubbing the back of the hub. It seems like those are the original screws but seem like they have tall heads.
