Finally got to see "the car"

So my great uncle passed away, as he was never a very social, open guy the most I ever knew about him was that he had a short lived racing career at sears point and a few other small tracks. However there was always the car I was never allowed to touch under a tarp in the back of his barn. Of course now when went to collect everything I ripped the tarp off and discovered his 1975 911 carrera RSR 3.0, it appears to be in mint condition tach shows 16,000 mi. Out of curiosity what is this thing worth?

Also ill try to get some pictures up

More than a few bucks.....post pics. Does it have a log book, paperwork or any provenance? Did it go away to storage wet and beat or was it stored properly?

Where are you located?

Located in western Canada (right above Montana) haven't got a good look but knowing him and by the looks of things it was stored properly. Paperwork could be somewhere just working on sorting through most of his stored keep sake stuff.

If I can work the car into my possession (no one else in the family has a car thing) this could definitely put an end to my 924 project haha

erm... our condolences for the loss of your uncle, interesting that you can know so little about someone who's relatively a close family member. Sounds like you guys would have had a nice time with a couple of beers sharing the P car passion. So I encourage everyone to let friends and family look under the tarp.

What's the old internet phrase....Oh yea. 'Pics or it didn't happen'. Should it be actually true it sure would be cool to see some photos however.

Maybe it's the "Red Barchetta" that Geddy Lee sings about!
